Welcome
to the ancient Mediterranean port of Agde. If you are considering a holiday

Agde is located on the river Herault, 4km
from the Mediterranean and only 6km from
Beziers Cap d´Agde airport. Agde
is known as the 'Black pearl of the Mediterranean'
because of the distinctive black basalt used in the local architecture. Agde
is the second oldest town in France. The local market has been likened to
Fortnum and Masons the oysters are cheaper than baked beans and the
patisserie displays make your eyes water.
