Welcome to Teds fishing page, these are the fish myself and our guests have caught in and around Agde. Whether you fancy a quiet hour on the canal du midi, a day on the river Herault catching supper or something more adventurous the Herault region has the kind of fishing that will interest you.

Fishing in the canal du Midi can be very exiting With lots of big carp to keep you on your toes the biggest one I have seen was 21 lb pictured above but plenty of double figure fish are caught every year. Other species in the canal include Roach, Rudd to over 2lb, Pike, Bream, Eels, Tench, carasin Mullet, catfish Black Bass and Zander to 15lb.

In the summer there is a lot or different species that run up the river Garpike is one of them and they make exhalent eating	A good catch of Mackerel and Garpike on float fished rag worm at Grau d' Agde

Here we are at the start of a new fishing season and here I am with a nice carp from the river herault . Pierre with an excellent Black Bass caught on a plug

Lac des Olivettes a great place to fish, the tower in the background is a restaurant ,probably best to book in advance!	Lious and a nice Dorade Royal or Sea bream regarded here as one of the most tasty of all sea fish, caught at the Grau on bottom fished rag worm. you pay around €28 a kilo for this fish so he was well happy.
